Armando, where to even begin about this.
Not only is it a visually aesthetic work of art, 1000% immersive, as it is also the pioneer of interactive concept albums.
You can either listen to the songs themselves, as they were originally recorded, with extensive production notes on the making of each instrument used, the development of the concept behind each song, but you can also play the instruments using the interface…either over the songs themselves as they play, or you can create your won songs using the instruments.
I promise…if you listen with good headphones, you will get blissfully lost for hours on end, and keep coming back to it.
If you love Bjork’s music, I highly recommend buying it (and I’m no way an affiliate link for the album, I just want to spread the intense joy I still get from. Even six years after buying it, still use it regularly to make samples and loops for my own music.
I don’t know how much of the essay you read, but I provided extensive youtube links from Bjork’s official site explaining how each song works, and how to use the instruments. Check out the videos, you’ll be thrilled, for sure!
Thank you so much for reading and commenting, my friend! I’m a total music app geek, and this one ranks on my top three, at number two.
Yours, musically, intellectually
