Dear Jess,

Thank you so much for your heartfelt response, and sorry it has taken me so long to reply.

You will be glad to hear that I beat “Bernard,” my evil junkie alter-ego, back into submission.

I have started to draft my “comeback” post, in which I shall tag all of you so kind to have commented and care, because it was largely owing to your interactions (and, naturally, my own effort,) that I managed to get back on track and quit before oblivion wrecked everything I had been building online with my nascent writing career.

It is difficult, after a hiatus, to drag oneself back on to the writing mare with her mane of crackling, nurturing, warming fire. She bucks and kicks at the moment, and does not quite obey me yet.

I feel she is slightly miffed at the fact I left her short of food and attention, and rightly so. So here’s to gently whispering to her that I am back, and that I am here to care for and nurture her so that she may take me on galloping journeys through the vast meadows of my imagination! :))))

Thank you, from the heart, Jessica!

Yours, with love, resilience, bristling strength and creative resolve,

P.

P.S. I have LOTS of new musical discoveries to share, as I have been “studying” Mojo, which I subscribed to, and also, a brilliant aternative music pub called “The Wire” to point me in the direction of new sounds, and who knows…if I work hard enough, I hope to one day write for Mojo, or The Wire, or any other quality music publication. :)))) But the Riff will ALWAYS have my heart as my first community-home.
