Hey there, Ted Rivers , I didn’t know about this, which means I’m not eligible, but then I’m not surprised. Even though they recently elected me Top Writer in music, I never got a bonus, even when I was publishing one article a day a little while back, for over a month.
I suppose i must suffer for my decision to build my online writing career with a staunch promise to never ever write a listicle… LOL…
I know, I should/could be selling out more and publishing 10 essays a day. But the kind of quality writing I enjoy putting out is something which takes time and I think would suffer if rushed.
That said, I would like to ask permission to pick your brain (privately) on a few aspects of your experience with Medium, of such would be at all possible, and, of course, at your convenience.
I’ve often had temper tantrums at Medium’s cryptic criteria, but hey…I’ve decided I am going to expect nothing and keep on writing, and reading, and commenting, and building my platform even if it is only making me 20 bucks a month.
And the reason? Because I LOVE writing. Hopefully, one day, whether on Medium or off, I can quite my detestable day jobs and live off the fruits of my words.
