…’t have any other invitations, and the idea of just going to the beach by myself felt kinda lonely. I’ve been lonely enough this year. Like many people displaced or locked down because of COVID and forced into monastic celibacy for a variety of reasons, my thirst for any sort of human contact has been raging.
