So, so true!
However, that said, the only time/gene-related workings I have changed happened recently, and were getting myself a kick-ass, top notch “hair system” (a chic name for a real-hair wig) to cover up my almost complete baldness. So yeah, the hair on my profile pic ain’t real! But it actually IS real, haha.
This because I started going bald at the age of 26, and wore my head shaved since then. So last year, I got myself my hair back. The decision was wholly unrelated to looking more or less my age, but merely due to aesthetic exhaustion (I was so, so bored of looking in the mirror and seeing a boiled egg looking back at me! Lol). Some men, when they hit their “midlife crises,” will buy Ferraris or, if married, go philandering. Well, hey — I had an “aesthetic crisis” and I got a wig!
Most women will say to bald men “but you look great, it’s sexy!” I have yet to find one man who privately and inwardly thinks so, too. Lol. Apart from that, I see no need to reverse anything else, and do think that yes, wrinkles are the road map to our journey, and we must absolutely change the narrative AND work on our laughter lines! :))
Yours, with much transatlantic Love!
