Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment, Martin! :) It means the world to me, to know that my writing provokes intense reactions. Also, I kind of went all “method-actor” (or rather, “method-writer”) on it.

I watched literal hours of the Japan tsunami footage to completely “immerse” myself; even going so far as to record the audio off the many amateur recordings of citizens with their phones, and having it playing back on headphones as I wrote so I could really sense/hear/feel the tsunami vibration as I wrote. It must have been utterly horrifying to witness. Makes us as individuals feel so damn tiny compared to nature.

Also, would like to say that I’m super interested in your Ambition guidebook, and as soon as I get paid from my freelancing job and have some money, will totally be buying it! :) (a year of Covid debts has put me in a hand to mouth existence at the moment, that’s why, otherwise I’d buy it right now, it’s just what I need.)
