There’s so much I love about this poem: for starters, the way it structurally builds upon itself; then, the way you’ve worked texts into the poem; your use of repetition is brilliant, with only the slightest changes, which gives them their power (and also which made me go back and re-read!) and then, just how relatable it is, and so succinctly expressed. Crisp, lean — to the bone, brother! :) congrats!
