Okay, my dear readers; today, I have a double whammy for you:

The essay itself, and my narration of it.

A few days ago a friend of mine asked me: “If you only had one month left to live, what would you do?”

I got thinking and wrote this, which I am narrating to you over a mellow instrumental track I composed and recorded to serve as background music; but not just for the sake of background music.

Because music will play a large part in my death — or at least in how I live my last thirty days — you will understand why and how, in reading or listening to the essay.
